Diamond Springs Event: Sierra Wildlife Rescue's March Wildlife Classes

Rehabbing Fawns – March 21, 2019

“Rehabbing Fawns,” held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on March 21, will provide details on receiving calls on fawns from rescuers, how to determine if the fawn(s) need rescuing, and the care, rehabbing and release of rescued fawns. Many fawns (but not all) found by the concerned public actually can be reunited with their mothers, which SWR will assist you with. Fawns are lovely and fascinating young animals, but need special care, and all information and assistance for rehabbing them will be provided.

Unless otherwise noted, all classes are held at SWR’s Wildlife Center, 777 Pleasant Valley Rd., Diamond Springs (note our address has changed). Classes are free to SWR Members; a $5 donation is requested from the general public, or you can join SWR as a member at the class. Parking is limited, so please make reservations well in advance with Barbara at 530-621-2650 or email her at barbaraewing@cal.net.
