Georgetown Event: Traverse Creek Hike

This beautiful trail is known for its unique soils and botanical interest. Serpentine is prominent in this area as well. Examine wildflowers, and explore the old Stiffle Claim mine known for its crystals. This is a moderately strenuous hike with uneven and loose terrain. Tom Petersen, local trail advocate and author, will share his knowledge of history, flora, and fauna. Carpool from Georgetown available. Steady rain cancels. Contact ARC to sign up.
