Diamond Springs Event: Sierra Wildlife Rescue's Volunteer Training

Join us at our Baby Bird Nursery, in operation from Monday, May 14, 2018, through early August, caring for orphaned and injured birds. The birds are rescued by folks in our community and brought to us, giving them a second chance at life in the wild! It's a rare opportunity to experience the joy of learning about the various songbirds we see all around us and knowing you've had a role in saving them. Also a great opportunity for parents to share a wonderful experience with kids aged 12-15. Teenagers 16 and older can volunteer independently.

Call Barbara at 530-621-2650 to register for Hands-on Training at the Baby Bird Nursery each Wednesday at 5 pm at the BBN. It takes an army of volunteers to care for the 500-600 birds that will pass through our doors in this 10-12 week time frame so please consider joining a wonderful group of volunteers who are making a real difference in the lives of Sierra foothills’ wildlife.
