Friends of Seniors' 7th Annual Spaghetti Feed

Friends of Seniors is hold their 7th Annual Spaghetti Feed on Saturday, April 28th at the Lions Hall on Missouri Flat Rd in Diamond Springs. Proceeds from this event will go to their Senior Defensible Space Program AND the Senior Emergency Fund. The Senior Defensible Space Program is in its fourth year and is carried out in conjunction with the EDC Fire Safe Council. This program helps create a defensible space around the homes of low income seniors who cannot do the work themselves. This project is making senior homes more fire safe. The Senior Emergency Fund gives financial support to seniors who find themselves in a crisis situation. Tickets for this event are $10 and $5 for children under 10 years of age. We will be serving spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. There will be a no host bar, opportunities to win Gift Baskets as well as a Giving Tree loaded with goodies for your picking. All items are generously donated by our supportive community. There will be food to go, vegetarian and gluten-free available. Tickets are available online at www.friendsofEDCseniors.org.
