Folsom Historical Society’s Summer History Day Camps

CALLING ALL FAMILIES! An exciting interactive day camp focusing on Folsom's rich history as a hub for the Gold Rush and other "firsts" in CA, is being offered by the Folsom Historical Society’s Education Department. From our living history museum at Pioneer Village, on the corner of Leidesdorff and Wool Streets in Historic Folsom, 7-12 yr. olds can study California’s history in a fun-filled one-of-a-kind active environment. Held for two weeks this summer, specifically the weeks of July 10th – 15th & July 17th – 22nd, our camp staff includes elementary teachers, museum docents, Folsom High School students and local artists. We've created fun-filled learning experiences integrated with the Arts and designed for developmental levels. Parents/guardians can drop children off at the Pioneer Village Living History Museum for a full day of pioneering crafts, music, dancing, storytelling, poetry, drama and art projects that help uncover and discover our local history with "new eyes." To Register and Pay: Go to Click on the “Education” tab at the top & Click Here To Register button at the bottom of the website page. Registration Fee: $180 per child for the week Fee includes water, snack, and other supplies. Students should bring own lunch. Contact for more information.
