Sierra Wildlife Rescue's April Rehabbing Classes

In April, the class on “Rehabbing Foxes, Coyotes and Bobcats” will be held on April 1, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and

“Rehabbing Fawns,” on April 6, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m;

“Rehabbing Doves and Pigeons” from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m April 8; and “Rehabbing Waterfowl and Game Birds” on April 20, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

“Introduction to the Baby Bird Nursery” (training for new volunteers) will be held from 10:00 a.m – noon on April 8 and 22, and from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on April 11 and 25. Volunteers need only take one class to qualify.

All classes are held at SWR’s Wildlife Center, 777 Pleasant Valley Rd., Diamond Springs (Note our address has changed). Classes are free to SWR Members; a $5 donation is requested from the general public, or you can join SWR as a member at the class. Parking is limited, so please make reservations well in advance by calling Barbara at 530-621-2650 or emailing her at barbaraewing@cal.net. Please cancel if you register and cannot attend, since there is always a waiting list.
