Wakamatsu Farm Volunteer Orientation

American River Conservancy is seeking adults and older teens to commit a few regular weekly, monthly, or quarterly volunteer hours at Wakamatsu Farm. Whether you have volunteered a little, a lot, or none, and you want to volunteer at Wakamatsu Farm, this session will help you understand the available programs and service commitments. During this full-day immersion, you will tour the site and learn about volunteer opportunities, including: historical, natural, and cultural interpretation; garden, grounds, and building maintenance; event planning, helping, and promoting; teaching and education programs. Volunteer orientation is especially helpful for leaders of any type of volunteer group. Wakamatsu Farm is owned by the non-profit organization, American River Conservancy, offering community service opportunities since 1989. Please RSVP to reserve your space in this session. Email: wakamatsu@arconservancy.org or call 530-621-1224.
