SNACK ATTACK

By Megan Wiskus

Take your little one’s lunch to the next level this year with “7 Back-to-School Snacks” we love. Each kid-tested, grab-and-go offering is nutritious, delicious, and available at area retailers.

Noosa Yoghurt

1. Noosa Yoghurt. Thick and velvety, Noosa Yoghurt is the perfect pick-me-up for little ones with a sweet tooth who still need nutrition. Made with farm-fresh whole milk, active cultures, a touch of pure wildflower honey, and just-picked real fruit, each container is crafted with lots of love. Their “coconut & pineapple” offering features a two-sided tub with double the delicious flavors. Mix-and-match both sides together or spoon them up separately for a creamy, pina colada-inspired creation that pleases all palates, young and old alike. Available at Raley’s, Safeway, Target, Sprouts Farmers Market, Walmart, and Whole Foods Market

Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas

2. Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas. Smart snackers who are smitten for both salty and sweet treats will love the lineup of Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas. Available in a rainbow of flavors, including wasabi, falafel, sea salt, honey roasted, and even dark chocolate, these protein-packed, gluten- and guilt-free bites are tasty solo or thrown into a DIY trail mix. The only downside? Once they pop, your kiddos won’t be able to stop! Available at Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Walmart, and Whole Foods Market
