Cameron Park Fifty+ Short Story Discussion Group

There is new feature at the Cameron Park Fifty+ Room!

They will be hosting Carly Amatisto from Eskaton Lodge Cameron Park and her short story discussion group in the Fifty+ Room at the Cameron Park Community Center the fourth Tuesday of each month starting in October and running through December.

The Short Story Discussion Group will meet on a monthly basis to discuss a variety of famous short stories and their themes. The group will be facilitated by Carly Amatisto, a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, at Eskaton Lodge Cameron Park.

Below is a list of stories and the topics that will be discussed:

October 28th at 2p.m.:
Most Dangerous Game

What is Irony?

November 25th at 2 p.m.: Breakfast by John Steinbeck & A Clean Well-Lighted Place by Ernest Hemingway
What is Single Effect?

December 23rd at 2 p.m.: Gift of The Magi by O. Henry
What is Symbolism?
