Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
As a wedding planner, I have the vision, technique and resources to create any imaginable setting with chameleon-like diversity. Whether working with traditional and elegant, fresh and trendy, or simple and organic, I quickly perceive your vision and color it with dazzle and texture. My down-to-earth personality and talents will make your day a stress-free adventure as our plans unfold into your once-in-a-lifetime celebration with unforgettable memories. My passion has always been set in imagination and creativity; therefore, it found me in the very beginning as Elmer’s glue and I became acquainted with tissue and construction paper in multi-color pads.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
I serve the wedding community as a volunteer for the Association for Wedding Professionals International in Sacramento. I’ve been a member and leader of the association’s mixers and annual awards event for over 15 years. This involvement has taught me a lot about details, presentation and coordination, from both the bride’s point of view and the professional’s view...helping to maximize my experience.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Spending time and creative energy with newly engaged couples planning their big day. It’s inspiring, magical and very personal. I am always very honored when asked to be part of a wedding.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Well, I met David Tutera and Colin Cowie and I have been written up in Martha Stewart Weddings, but I have yet to meet her, so I would have to say Martha Stewart – or Kevin Costner…but then I would just die if that happened.
What’s your favorite local event that you go to?
I really, really like the Folsom Street Fair during the summer months, but my favorite time here in the Foothills is during Apple Hill season. For three months, I travel there regularly.
And finally, customer service is…?
The hardest, the easiest and the most rewarding service when you do it right!
